Position: Java Developer Key skills
1. Reading existing source code in Java/Struts/J2ee/Applets/EJB to determine current programming logic, as required .
2. Documenting functionality, processes, requests, responses and maintaining software development records.
3. Resolve build issues during OS version and other software upgrades.
4. Resolving deployment and runtime issues in new environments.
5. Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures.
6. Support the team by providing testing and providing clarifications as required. Responsibilities:
1. Good knowledge in Java /Applets/ EJB / JavaScript
2. Must have experience on Unix platforms, should possess shell scripting and CORBA skills
3. Hands on experience in migrating JAVA/J2EE based application from lower versions of Solaris to higher versions.
4. Experience working in Borland VisiBroker .
5. Knowledge of libraries and linking.
6. Strong proficiency and knowledge of SQL , XML , RPC and SOAP Qualifications
• A BS or BA degree in related fields
• Possess a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in previous Professional Services Special skills
• Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills
• Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
• Demonstrated time management skills
• Flexible & easily adapts to change
